Flea Markets are a Los Angeles staple.  When I first moved here 16 years ago, I was obsessed with Melrose Trading Post.  Then the Pasadena Rose Bowl Flea Market.  Then the monthly Long Beach Antique Market….  I take great pleasure in sorting through years of accumulated furniture, vintage clothing, various odds and ends, art deco jewlry.  I crave the thrill of the hunt and scoring that one-of-a-kind piece I know will bring me joy whenever I look at it.  My home is a mixture of luxury brands, but it is these vintage finds  that make my home special…  And NOW, I can do it all from the comfort of my couch!

The website FLEAPOP elegantly merges my unique style with a techie sensibility.  Shop furniture and home decor from a roster of trusted local vendors (Atomic ThresholdDesign Mix FurnitureGo Mod Retro) or employ the easy-to-use tag system to browse by style, item, function, or price.

Here are some treasures I’ve spotted at flea markets over the years:

Mid Century Modern Lucite Chairs
