Terrafugia-Flying-Car-600x399

The concept for the “flying car” has been in development for several years now. Though the prototypes have previously been flown in private, the Terrafugia Transition, as it is called, was publicly flown in Oshkosh, Wisconsin yesterday.

The cost of the vehicle itself is $279,000, but developers have still not completed the model. Furthermore, no date for production has been announced yet.

When I first saw this article, I was pretty surprised. But honestly, after seeing photos of what the flying car looked like, I was pretty let down. Is it too much to have expected a hover-car of some sorts? Needless to say, the flying car just looks like a miniature plane. Sure, I don’t know the mechanics of this gadget, but the design could’ve at least looked a bit more original, I guess? What do you guys think?
