Almost everywhere is offering special menus for you & your special someone, your gal pals, or just you. So get ready for a day filled with lots of love, chocolate, and of course plenty to eat.

1. Peninsula Beverly Hills

Enjoy lovely acoustic music and a 4 course tasting menu at the Roof Garden Restaurant. Or if you’re really planning to     splurge on your special someone, take them to The Belvedere for a 5 course menu accompanied by a pianist. If you’re       really going all out, you can reserve one of the 12 special cabanas that comes with a bottle of champagne, a private guitarist, and full feast.

2. Love & Salt

This new hot spot is perfect if you’re looking to mix it up. Located in Manhattan Beach, this restaurant will be featuring “Labor of Love” specials made just for the occasion. Chef Michael Fiorelli makes some incredible authentic Italian cuisine that will get you feeling like you’re in a real-life version of Lady & the Tramp.

3. The Little Door Santa Monica

Nestled right next to the beach, this little hideout just oozes “romance”. Sitting right next to the beach, The Little Door truly is magical with its intimate, candlelit tables. They are offering a 3 course tasting menu for Valentine’s Day themed perfectly for the holiday. If the food tastes as pretty as the restaurant looks, you’re sure to have a splendid time.

4. Bouchon Bakery Cafe

Famous for it’s dessert (have you tried their macaroons), Bouchon is great if you’re in the mood for French cuisine. You can indulge in their decadent 3 course menu for Valentine’s Day which includes cheese fondue, fresh oysters, as well as scallops and short rib. You won’t want to leave without dessert of course.

5. Republique

Known to be especially cozy, this La Brea avenue spot is often frequented by bloggers and celebrities. It boasts a stunning interior and has the food to back it up. Chef Walter Manzke prepared a “His & Her” menu for the occasion. Reservations may already be booked up, but if you can squeeze in there I strongly suggest you do.

Newly opened restaurant Terrine boasts a beautiful outdoor patio and excellent French food & wine. The offerings reflect a little California fusion, making it a safe choice for absolutely anyone. You really can’t go wrong here.

7. Strand House

Toast your loved one with a glass of wine at this picture perfect beachside restaurant. You can expect lots of seafood from the special 4 course Valentine’s Day menu. Topped off with strawberries, champagne, and some chocolate souffle.

8. Tres by José Andrés

If brunch is more your style, head on over to Tres where they’ll be serving up a “Sweet Little Soulmates” brunch. Highlights include bottomless mimosas, an entree, brunch buffet, plus a box of bon bons to take home with you. This is a special treat for those who aren’t looking to do a big dinner.

9. Gracias Madre

All you vegans out there, don’t feel like you have to skip out on Valentine’s Day! This is L.A. after all, and vegan mexican hot spot Gracias Madre is here for you. They’ll be offering a one-of-a-kind 4 course vegan prix-fixe menu that includes a specialty cocktail as well. Even if you aren’t vegan, this West Hollywood restaurant is a great place to check out.

10. MAKE Restaurant

If you want to treat your loved one to an extra-special night out but are also trying to stay healthy, MAKE is for you. Matthew Kenney’s plant-based restaurant debuts a 10 course menu for Valentine’s Day. Dishes include a celeraic tagliatelle with black truffle puree, walnut crunch, and oxalis, beets + berries with meyer lemon and wild cress, and more. You’ll definitely leave here satisfied.
