Another place I would definitely recommend visiting in SoCal is the Griffith Observatory. If you do ever decide to go, it would be best to go at night. That’s when the weather is cool and the bright lights of LA can be seen all around. There are also hiking trails since Griffith Observatory is located in Griffith Park. I went with a group of friends a couple weeks ago, and the night hike was very refreshing and relaxing.
Make sure you get out of the park by 10 PM, however. I brought a car there my first time and unknowingly stayed past 10, and received a parking ticket. Other than that, time your trip better that I did and have fun!
